Bill Jacobs
Bill Jacobs is an integral ecologist and founder of the Saint Kateri Conservation Center. Bill has more than 35 years of experience in ecology and conservation, including expertise in conservation action planning, land stewardship, conservation career coaching, invasive species, native species, and Catholic faith-based integral ecology.
Bill has worked with a variety of governmental and nongovernmental organizations, including The Nature Conservancy, New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, GEI Consultants, and the Long Island Native Plant Initiative. Bill is currently the COO of the Saint Kateri Conservation Center, with the mission of promoting Catholic faith, integral ecology, biodiversity, and climate resilience.
Bill’s work has been featured in the New York Times, Axios, National Catholic Register, Saint Anthony Messenger, Our Sunday Visitor, National Catholic Reporter, Aleteia, and EarthBeat. Bill is married to Lynn, who together have three adult children and three grandchildren.
