Linda Sandish

Linda is a retired attorney and empty nester who, during the pandemic, heard the call to care for creation as her "third act" in life.  Linda started a Creation Care Team at her parish in 2021, bringing awareness to parishioners of the teachings in the encyclical Laudato Si' and programs to help address more sustainable ways of living.  In 2023, she was asked by the Laudato Si' Movement to start a chapter in Texas in order to help find more people of faith who hear the call to care for our common home but have not heard the calling yet from their faith community.  As Linda prepares to relocate to her home state of Ohio, she has started a Creation Care Ministry at her new parish and is taking a Master Rain Gardener course in order to continue her journey to help others see the miracles within God's creation.
