Liz Cabrera Holtz
Liz Cabrera Holtz is an attorney with more than 15 years of experience in the animal protection movement. Her work has focused on leveraging policy and mobilizing animal advocates to make concrete change for animals. She is presently the Senior Campaigns Manager at World Animal Protection, where she oversees their campaign to end the exploitation of wild animals in the pet trade.
Inspired by her Catholic faith and Saint Oscar Romero, she joined the Jesuit Volunteer Corps after college, where she served Latino immigrants in Brooklyn. In addition to her animal advocacy, she is an active volunteer with faith-based campaigns related to just peace and care for the poor. She lives in the Washington, DC area with her husband, three children, four cats, and a large Chihuahua.
