ADVISORY BOARD

Theresa Wylie

Theresa is a native Texan who has spent the past 13 years working as a residential real estate broker in Austin. While her profession is focused on guiding people through their home buying journey, her life outlook has always been rooted in care, compassion, and responsibility toward all living beings.

A lifelong animal lover, Theresa believes deeply in the sentience of animals and in humanity’s obligation to act as faithful stewards of God’s creation. She is committed to advancing thoughtful, faith-based conversations around animal dignity, ethical responsibility, and mercy.

Theresa lives in Austin, Texas with her husband Brian, and feisty shi-tzu, Mochi, who daily reminds her of the joy, intelligence, and individuality animals bring into our lives. When she is not working, she enjoys reading, volunteering with her church’s homeless ministry, experimenting with plant-based recipes, and finding new corners of the world to explore.

As a member of the advisory board of the Saint Francis Institute for Animals, Theresa is honored to support its mission of educating and engaging Catholics in a deeper understanding of animals, creation, and our shared call to compassion.
