Webinar: Exploring Animals’ Emotions with Dr. Marc Bekoff

Begin the week of Saint Francis’s Feast Day with an adventure into the complex and awe-inspiring inner lives of animals.

Dr. Marc Bekoff will join the Saint Francis Institute for Animals to discuss his decades of research on animal emotions and his newest book, Love in Their Hearts: A Celebration of Animal Emotions and a Guide to Compassionate Action. Dr. Bekoff will share what we know about animal emotions and sentience including expressions of joy, curiosity, playfulness, grief, anger, love, and more - and what those insights ask of us.

Joining Dr. Bekoff in conversation will be Rev. Christopher Steck, SJ, who will bring a Catholic theological perspective to the discussion. The conversation will be co-hosted by Tom Linney and Kristin Dunn.
